He has a pas­sion for the out­doors and a love affair with Africa’s nature, cap­tur­ing the magic of the out­doors with his cam­era. As a kid, my dad often took us to the game reserve, which cemen­ted a pas­sion for our unique coun­try and the priv­ilege of see­ing anim­als that no oth­er con­tin­ent could offer. Later on, in life, I fol­lowed my dream of get­ting my pilot’s licence and this opened the doors for me to tra­verse the ulti­mate wild­life areas in my Cessna light air­craft. I, there­fore, learnt where the ulti­mate safari exper­i­ences were and con­tinu­ally trav­elled and atten­ded road­shows to keep up to date with the latest trends and the best lodges. To me, Chavkin Safar­is is more than just a busi­ness, but a pas­sion for what I do. My 1st choice for a safari is to vis­it our north-west­ern neigh­bour, Bot­swana, where the Okavango Delta is situ­ated, to which I first flew in 1989. 

I am the sole own­er of the busi­ness and cre­ate each trip accord­ing to each client’s per­son­al needs and budget. I am registered with many lodge own­ers and my loy­al­ties lie with the cli­ent to offer you the best exper­i­ence and value for your budget. We indi­vidu­ally arranged each trip accord­ing to each party’s per­son­al needs and pref­er­ences, and I do not have set pack­ages.
