Maun is a small town in Botswana where you will land after flying from Johannesburg.It is the gateway into the Okavango and Moremi reserves. From here you will fly by aircharter in light aircraft to Okavango and Moremi The Delta is a unique system of waterways created by a vast amount of water that flows into this area from Angola north east of Botswana. Over millions of years a paradise was created in the middle of a desert which stretches for 200 km (120 miles) east to west and 60 km (40 miles) north to south. This area comprises small exclusive game lodges accommodating +/- 24 guests each. Activities include excursions by boats along these waterways enjoying the tranquility of this area viewing hippos, crocodiles, magnificent birdlife & other animals or fishing for Bream or the feisty Tiger fish.
